Alabama recently added another top recruit when Shawn Murphy announced his commitment. He is their eleventh commit in the ESPN 300 rankings.
Murphy is ranked as the 38th overall prospect, the number one ranked inside linebacker, and the number two prospect in Virginia. At 6’2” 215-pounds, Murphy is extremely athletic and plays a downhill, physical brand of football.
As the eleventh top 300 commit for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, Murphy has now put Alabama one top 300 commit behind Penn State and Notre Dame who each have 12.
