After a tough last-second loss to Texas A&M on Oct. 9, Alabama still finds themselves a top-five team in the country. Even with the loss, their outlook in the SEC is still promising, and they are still in line to face off with Georgia in the SEC Championship game.
Here is a breakdown of Alabama football’s remaining SEC schedule.
Alabama @ Miss. State | Oct. 16
For their next game, the Crimson Tide will continue their road trip as they will travel to Starkville, Mississippi to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs. After a 3-2 start to the season, the Bulldogs will have a tough matchup in the Crimson Tide.
Quarterback Will Rogers has had an impressive start to the season, but Mississippi State hasn’t faced an opponent anywhere near the level of the Crimson Tide.
Tennessee @ Alabama | Oct. 23
The Crimson Tide will travel back to Tuscaloosa to host Tennessee on Oct. 23. After a convincing 62-24 victory against the Missouri Tigers, the Volunteers will have a much tougher test when they play Alabama on the road.
The Crimson Tide haven’t lost a home game since 2019, as they lost to Joe Burrow and the eventual National Champions, the LSU Tigers.
LSU @ Alabama | Nov. 6
Continuing their homestand, the Crimson Tide will host the LSU Tigers after a bye week. Currently sitting at 3-2, the Tigers are not off to a great start for the second straight season.
Although the Tigers aren’t living up to what they were in 2019, they still have playmakers like defensive back Derek Stingley Jr. who can make plays.
While it should be a relatively easy game for the Tide, they must be aware of some very threatening players, especially on the LSU defense.
Arkansas @ Alabama | Nov. 20
After a non-conference tilt with New Mexico State, the Crimson Tide will continue their stay at home against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Ranked thirteenth nationally, the Razorbacks are off to a fast start, currently sitting at 4-1 with their lone loss being against the dynamic Georgia Bulldogs.
With some quality wins already on their resumé, the Razorbacks will be looking to prove themselves against the best team in the country.
Alabama @ Auburn | Nov. 27
The Crimson Tide will wrap up their conference schedule with an Iron Bowl matchup at Auburn. After a fast start, the Auburn Tigers currently sit at 4-1 and they are ranked eighteenth nationally, with their lone loss being to the Georgia Bulldogs.
Although Alabama certainly will outmatch the Tigers, the Iron Bowl is always a competitive game with a lot of pride on the line for both sides.
